William Ellis
Owner
William was born in San Francisco and spent his youth in Indiana, where he acquired a background in agriculture and construction. He returned to the Bay Area and attended Skyline College during the 1970’s. He worked as a landscape instructor for the developmentally disabled for 4 years. He has worked in the landscape industry since 1975 and was an original pioneer in the use of drought-tolerant plants and drip irrigation systems.
Bryan Ellis
Co-Owner
Bryan attended Woodside High School during which time he was very involved in learning landscape maintenance and installation. He served 5 years in the Army with the 82nd Airborne Infantry. He completed 4 tours of duty in Iraq from 2004 to 2008 and received numerous medals and commendations for his service. Since his discharge from the Army, Bryan has worked in the landscape field. Bryan has completed courses at UC Davis on the care and pruning of fruit trees and fruit bearing vines. He has extensive knowledge in the planting and care of fruit bearing trees and plants. An avid collector of rare heirloom seeds, Bryan is an expert in biodynamic and organic gardens.
